SYMPTOMSYou create meetings in the Meetings tool and tasks in the Task Manager tool or
in the Project Manager tool in Groove Workspace and in Groove Virtual Office. When you do this, the meetings and the tasks may show dates that are one day before the date that you
selected.CAUSE This issue occurs when daylight saving
time is not used in Microsoft Windows. In this case, tasks and some meetings are listed as starting on the previous day.
For example, when you create a task that is to start on Tuesday, the task is listed as
starting on Monday. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run,
type timedate.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.
- Click the Time Zone tab, click to select
the Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes
check box, and then click OK.
MORE INFORMATIONYou may want to use the TeamDirection Project tool. This tool is available as part
of Groove Virtual Office Project Edition. The TeamDirection Project tool
maintains dates across all time zones.
