SYMPTOMS

When you try to make a card in Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
Error: Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result this page may not be displayed properly.

RESOLUTION

Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Restart the computer.
  2. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
  3. Expand the following registry subkey:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0

  4. In the right pane, right-click 1200, and then click Modify.
  5. In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, type 0 in the Value data box, and then click OK.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the following registry subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0

  7. Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.
