You cannot find Office programs after you install Student or Encarta (918797)

SYMPTOMS

After you install Microsoft Student or Microsoft Encarta, you cannot find any Microsoft Office programs.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because Student is made to work together with Office and does not include Office with the program.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install Microsoft Office.

Note If you install Office after you install Student, you must reinstall the Learning Essentials feature.
