You may have two Groove identities after you activate your domain identity in Groove (917179)

INTRODUCTION

After you activate your domain identity in Groove Virtual Office or in Groove Workspace, you may have two Groove identities.

If you already use Groove and then receive a managed identity from your organization, you must convert your old identity to your new identity. Otherwise, you will have the following two identities:
  • A new managed identity that belongs to the Groove domain
  • An old unmanaged identity that belongs to all your workspaces
If your computer is a managed device in the Groove domain, you will be prompted to convert the old identity when you activate the new identity. If your computer is not a managed device, you cannot convert the identity.

If you refused the prompted conversion, or if your computer is not a managed device in the Groove domain, you have an additional identity. When this occurs, ask your Groove administrator to make your computer a managed device. Then, activate the new identity that is sent to you. In the activation wizard, click More, and then select to convert your original identity. After you do this, you can delete the additional identity.
