SYMPTOMSWhen you use Norton AntiVirus and Groove Virtual Office 3.x
or Groove Workspace 2.x, and you try to enter a Groove workspace that includes
the Task Manager tool, you may receive the following Norton AntiVirus message:Malicious script detectedCAUSEThis issue occurs when script blocking is enabled in Norton
AntiVirus 2002 or Norton AntiVirus 2003.
Some versions of Norton
AntiVirus 2002 and Norton AntiVirus 2003 are installed with script blocking enabled. Some Groove
tools such as the Task Manager tool and the Forms tool run scripts when they
are accessed. Many Web sites also run scripts when they are accessed. When
script blocking is enabled, Norton AntiVirus assumes these scripts are
malicious and will generate this message.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, click Authorize this
script in the Action menu in the Norton AntiVirus dialog box.
Norton AntiVirus will enable only this script to run. To merge documents
from the Groove Document Review tool, you must disable script
blocking.
