INTRODUCTION

This article describes how Groove displays the read and unread marks for the following items:
  • The Dashboard tool
  • The items that are in the Dashboard tool

MORE INFORMATION

The Dashboard tool for Groove gives you an integrated view of the status of the following items:
  • Tasks and meetings that are in an Advanced Project toolset.
  • Tasks and meetings that are in a workspace that was created from the Task and Meeting Management template.
Additionally, the Dashboard tool displays the status of the items that it displays. Unread items from Project Manager and for meetings display an unread mark in the Dashboard tool lists.

You cannot mark items as read or unread from the Dashboard tool. You must either read them or mark them read or unread in the originating tool.

If there were unread items in the Dashboard tool in Groove Workspace 2.0, the Dashboard tab would display an unread mark until you read all the displayed items. However, this behavior changed in Groove Workspace 2.0d. Even when the Dashboard tool displays unread items, the Dashboard tab no longer displays an unread mark.

The TeamDirection Dashboard that is included in Groove Virtual Office 3.0 Project Edition behaves in a similar manner.
