Error message in Internet Explorer 5.2 for Macintosh: "Your Security Zone settings do not allow you to send HTML forms" (916878)

SYMPTOMS
When you browse certain Web pages by using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.2 for Macintosh, you may receive the following error message:
Your Security Zone settings do not allow you to send HTML forms.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when one of the following conditions occurs: - The Internet Preferences file is corrupted.
- The Explorer folder contains corrupted files.
- The MS Internet Cache folder contains corrupted files.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, delete the Explorer folder and the MS Internet Cache folder, and then delete the Internet Preferences file.

To delete the Explorer folder and the MS Internet Cache folder, follow these steps:
- Exit Internet Explorer.
- In Finder, open the System folder.
- In the System folder, open the Preferences folder.
- Drag the Explorer folder and the MS Internet Cache folder to your desktop.
- Restart Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer creates a new Explorer folder and a new MS Internet Cache folder in the Preferences folder. - Delete the Internet preferences file
To delete the Internet Preferences file, follow these steps:
- Exit Internet Explorer.
- In Finder, open the System folder.
- In the System folder, open the Preferences folder.
- Drag the Internet Preferences file to your desktop.
- Restart Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer creates a new Internet Preferences file in the Preferences folder.
