SYMPTOMSThe size of your Groove workspaces (as displayed by Groove) does not match
the size of the Groove account directory (as displayed by Microsoft Windows). CAUSE Most workspace data is stored in your Groove account
directory. However, the size of the workspaces and the size of the account directory
may differ significantly. There are several reasons why these sizes do not
match. These reasons are as follows:
- Not all workspace data is in the account directory. Files
that are shared in the workspace are stored in the binary files store. The binary files store is in the
permanent subdirectory of the Groove system data directory.
- Stored data in either location is encrypted and
compressed.
- The account directory contains logs and program data that
are not associated with workspaces.
