This article describes a limitation of the undo function in Groove. You may notice this limitation when you use this function after you perform a move operation between Groove and the local file system.

When you use the undo or redo function in Groove Workspace 2.x or in Groove Virtual Office 3.x, only actions that are performed in Groove are affected. When you move a file between the local file system and Groove, actions are performed in both environments. The actions that are performed in the local file system will not be reversed or repeated. For example, the following behavior occurs:
  • You move a file from the local file system to Groove. Then, you use the undo function in Groove. In this example, the file is removed from Groove. However, the file is not added back to the local file system.
  • You move a file from Groove to the local file system. Then, you use the undo function in Groove. In this example, the file is added back to Groove. However, the file also exists on the local file system.
