Unread markers do not propagate up to the tab of a particular tool in Groove Workspace 2.5 (914747)

SYMPTOMS

In Groove Workspace 2.5, unread markers do not propagate up from individual items to the tab of a particular tool.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when the Unread Notification Setting for the Groove Workspace tool is set to Low. This setting prevents unread markers from propagating up from individual items to the tool tab.

MORE INFORMATION

To confirm this setting, right-click the tool tab, and then point to Unread Notification Setting. The active setting is highlighted and checked.

Note In Groove Virtual Office, this setting was renamed to Off.
