FIX: The MCMS Template Explorer disappears from Visual Studio .NET 2003 after you install Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 Service Pack 2 (914195)

SYMPTOMS

After you install Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2002 Service Pack 2 (SP2), the following problems occur:
  • The MCMS Template Explorer disappears from Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003.
  • When the language settings are not set to English, you receive the following error message in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005:
    Package load failure

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
