FIX: The CeSeekDatabase function may not find matching records when a CEDB database contains more that 15,750 records on a Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2-based device (914084)

SYMPTOMS

When a CEDB database contains more than 15,750 records on a Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2-based device, the CeSeekDatabase function may not find matching records.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because record number 15,751 is added to the CEDB database. When this record is inserted, an index block that contains 125 records is dropped from the index tree.

RESOLUTION

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this update. After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu.
