After you install version 2.0 of the .NET Framework on a server that is running Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 with SP1, you can no longer discover computers in Active Directory (913812)

SYMPTOMS

You install version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework on a server that is running Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 with Service Pack 1. After you do this, the server can no longer discover computers in the Active Directory directory service. Additionally, previously installed MOM agents that appear on the Pending Actions page now have a Desired Management Mode setting of Unmanaged.
