The Automatic Password Reset option is disabled on the Security Policies page in Groove Management Server (913613)

SYMPTOMS

In certain domain configurations in Groove Enterprise Management Server or in Groove Hosted Management Server, the Automatic Password Reset option is disabled on the Security Policies page for the Groove domain.

RESOLUTION

The Automatic Password Reset option is disabled until you configure the Groove domain to remember the private key password. To enable the Automatic Password Reset option, follow these steps:
  1. On the management server, click your domain name, and then click Domain Properties at the top of the page.
  2. On the Properties page, click Change Private Key Password.
  3. Click to select the Remember Private Key Password check box, and then click OK.
  4. In the Domain Properties dialog box, click OK.
  5. In the left pane, click Identity Policy Templates, and then click either Default or the custom policy setting that you want.
  6. At the bottom of the new pane, click Security Policies.
  7. Click Automatic Password Reset, and then click Save Changes.
