SYMPTOMSWhen you add a new account in the Chart of Accounts list in Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting, you may receive the following error message when you select an account in the Subaccount of field: Only one level of sub-accounts is allowed. CAUSEThe problem occurs because the account that you selected in the Subaccount of field is a subaccount of another account. Small Business Accounting only allows one level of subaccounts.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, select an account that is not a subaccount of another account.
