FIX: The font of a hosted HTML page may not change correctly in Windows CE .NET 4.1 (911743)

SYMPTOMS

The font of a hosted HTML page may not change correctly in Microsoft Windows CE .NET version 4.1. This problem only occurs when the following conditions are true:
  • You use the WebBrowser object in Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows CE to change the font.
  • You use the IWebBrowser2 interface to implement the WebBrowser object.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if a variable in the IWebBrowser2 interface is not initialized.

RESOLUTION

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been applied.

Restart requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole operating system. To clean the operating system, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the operating system, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this update.
