Xbox 360: Media Center Extender for Xbox 360 cannot connect to the Media Center-based computer after the computer resumes from standby (911115)

SYMPTOMS

The Xbox 360 console cannot connect to the Media Center-based computer after the computer resumes from standby.

CAUSE

Typically, an outdated network card driver on the Media Center-based computer causes this behavior.

THINGS TO TRY

  1. Install the latest network card driver on the computer. For help with downloading and installing the driver, contact the system manufacturer of the Media Center-based computer.
  2. If the updated driver does not resolve this issue, disable standby on the computer.
