FIX: The Windows Media Source Filter may not populate the dwBitRate field correctly when you call the ConnectionMediaType function in Windows CE 5.0 (909073)

SYMPTOMS

When you call the ConnectionMediaType function for the Microsoft Windows Media Source Filter in Microsoft Windows CE 5.0, the Windows Media Source Filter may not populate the dwBitRate field correctly.

Note You may not be able to determine the bitrate for an input stream without the dwBitRate information.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the SetMediaType function that calls the HandleStreamProperties function may not set the value of the dwBitRate field correctly.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update. After you apply this software update, you must perform a clean build of the whole operating system. To clean the operating system, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the operating system, click Build Platform on the Build menu.
