As a parent, guardian, or adult, you can restrict your underage child from accessing Xbox Live without your consent. To restrict access to Xbox Live, follow these steps:
  1. Press the Xbox Guide button.
  2. In the System section, select Family Settings.
  3. Select Console Controls.
  4. Select Access to Xbox Live.
  5. The default setting is Allowed. If you want to restrict this activity, select Blocked.
  6. Select Done to leave Console Controls.
