FIX: The VASAdapter WSE Web service repeatedly transmits the same record to the BillingSBE in Connected Services Framework (908101)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Connected Services Framework

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Connected Services Framework, the VASAdapter Web Services Enhancements (WSE) Web Service repeatedly transmits the same record to the Billing Standard Business Event (BillingSBE).

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the DeliveryResponse message that is sent by the BillingSBE in response to the transmitted record does not reach the VASAdapter WSE Web Service. If the VASAdapter WSE Web Service does not receive a DeliveryResponse message for a specific record, the VASAdapter WSE Web Service transmits the record again. However, if the BillingSBE has already sent a DeliveryResponse message for a specific record, then the BillingSBE will not send another DeliveryResponse message for that record. Therefore, the VASAdapter WSE Web Service repeatedly transmits the same record.
