This action cannot be performed at this time. Please try again later. 80150010

CAUSE

Typically, this behavior occurs when the Windows Live ID is experiencing technical problems.

THINGS TO TRY

  1. If you receive this error when you try to migrate an Xbox Live account for a minor from an original Xbox console to an Xbox 360 console, try the migration process again.
  2. If the migration process continues to fail, you will have to recover your account by using the information from the original Xbox console. To recover your account on the Xbox 360 console, follow these steps:
    1. If you have signed in to Xbox Live, sign out.
    2. Remove any profiles on the Xbox 360 console that have the same name as the gamertag that you want to recover.

Note To access the screen to delete the profiles, move to the System section of the Xbox Dashboard, and then select Memory.

    3. In the Xbox Live section of the Xbox Dashboard, select Recover Gamertag from Xbox Live.
    4. When you are prompted, enter the gamertag that you want to recover, and then click Next.
    5. On the Windows Live ID Account screen, press the Y button to select Recover with Original Xbox Info.

Note The Recover with Original Xbox Info option will not be available if the gamertag has been previously recovered to the Xbox 360 console.

    6. Enter the required information at the appropriate prompts to finish the account recovery process.

Note You may have to create a new Windows Live ID account (an e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to the Windows Live ID) when you recover an account.

  3. Make sure that you use the correct Windows Live ID credentials. You must be careful if you have more than one Windows Live ID account.

Note Your Windows Live ID credentials refers to the e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to the Windows Live ID.

If you forgot your Windows Live ID credentials, you may have to contact Windows Live ID support. For more information about how to contact Windows Live ID support, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
