When you start your Xbox 360 console for the first time, you are prompted to select a language. The following languages are currently available:
  • English
  • Spanish
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Portuguese
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Chinese
To set or to change the default language on your Xbox 360 console, follow these steps:
  1. Start your Xbox 360 console without a disc in the disc tray.
  2. Move to the System section of the Xbox Dashboard.

    Note The System section is the last section on the right of the Dashboard.

  3. Select Console Settings.

    Note This option is the first option in the list.

  4. In the Console Settings area, select Language.

    Note This option is the third option in the list.

  5. Highlight the language that you want to use, and then press the A button on the Xbox 360 Controller or on the remote control.
