SYMPTOMS

After you install Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), you cannot use an Infrared Data Association (IrDA) link to send a file to a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 98. When you click Send, you may receive the following error message:
The data is invalid
