INTRODUCTION

Consider the following scenario. You install Sybari Antigen on a server that is running one of the following programs:
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
  • Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5
  • Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server
In this scenario, you must configure the AntigenMonitor service to run under the local system account.

MORE INFORMATION

Only the local system account gives the AntigenMonitor service the rights to retrieve the status of the Exchange Server information store and of IIS Admin Services from Service Control Manager. If you configure the AntigenMonitor service to run under a different account, Antigen may not start.
