INTRODUCTION

After you install the Sybari Advanced Spam Defense (ASD) 4.1 Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook, users do not have to log on to ASD 4.1 to view the Quarantine report.

MORE INFORMATION

By default, ASD 4.1 sends all users a Quarantine report in an e-mail message. The e-mail message contains a link to each user's Quarantine report. When the user clicks the link, a logon screen appears. The user must have administrative user rights to log on to ASD 4.1 to access their e-mail messages that have been quarantined. After the user logs on, the user can review the quarantined e-mail message to either approve the sender or to block the sender of the quarantined e-mail message.

If you install ASD 4.1 Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook, the user does not have to log on to ASD 4.1 to view their Quarantine report. When you install the ASD 4.1 Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook, you configure administrative user rights for the users in the Configuration wizard. The user does not have to log on to the Quarantine report to view their quarantined messages. Instead, the quarantined e-mail messages are automatically sent to the user's Junk mail folder. To block or to approve the sender of the quarantined e-mail message, the user can click either of the following buttons that appear in the e-mail message:
  • Approve Sender
  • Block Sender
