This article describes how to configure a remote Sybari Antigen Client session in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2).

To configure a remote Antigen Client session in Windows XP SP2, follow these steps:
  1. On a computer that is running Windows XP SP2, click Start, click Run, type dcomcnfg, and then click OK.
  2. In the left pane, double-click Component Services, and then double-click Computers.
  3. In the right pane, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the DCOM Security tab, and then click Edit Limits under Access Permissions.
  5. Click Anonymous Logon, and then click to select the Allow check box for Remote Access.
  6. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Security Center.
  7. Click Windows Firewall, and then click the Exceptions tab.
  8. Click Add Program, click Sybari Client, and then click OK.
  9. Under Programs and Services, click to select the Sybari Client check box, and then click Add Port.
  10. In the Name box, type a name for the program.
  11. In the Port number box, type 135, make sure that the TCP option is selected, and then click OK.
