Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next BizTalk Server 2004 service pack that contains this hotfix.

Note In special cases, charges that are ordinarily incurred for support calls may be canceled if a Microsoft Support Professional determines that a specific update will resolve your problem. Warning You cannot roll back this hotfix from the BizTalk Server environment. Therefore, make sure that you fully test this hotfix in a test environment before you apply this hotfix to a production environment. Do not try to use
Add or Remove Programs to remove this hotfix because this does not roll back the database changes, and leaves the BizTalk Server environment in an inconsistent state.
Prerequisites
To apply this hotfix, you must have BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed on the computer.
Restart requirement
You must restart the BizTalk Server Application Service after you apply this hotfix.
