SYMPTOMS

When you try to use the Create CD/DVD experience in Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 to copy a recorded TV show to a video DVD, you may receive the following error message:
One or more of the files you have selected is not a supported file or is not on the local PC and cannot be added to the list

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the system drive of the Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005-based computer is one terabyte (TB) or larger.

Notes
  • The system drive is the drive on which Windows is installed or the drive from which Windows runs.
  • One terabyte is equal to 1,024 gigabytes (GB).

STATUS
