Validation does not succeed on a schema that BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite generates if a SAP DEBMAS05 IDOC contains multiple instances of the E1KNVKM node (901265)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite to process a valid SAP DEBMAS05 IDOC, and the IDOC contains multiple instances of the E1KNVKM node, validation does not succeed against the XSD schema that BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite generates.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the DEBMAS05 XSD schema that BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite generates allows only one instance of the E1KNVKM node.

Note The DEBMAS05 IDOC schema of the SAP server may allow multiple instances of the E1KNVKM node.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, change the Max Occurs value of the E1KNVKM node to * or to unbounded.

To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Open the generated schema, and then click the E1KNVKM node.
  2. In the record Properties, change the Max Occurs value to * or to unbounded.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
