Mac Util: Modem's Auto-Answer LED Remains on After Shutdown (90681)

When using the Dial-In CDEV (Control Panel Device) for version 3.1 of
Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks, the modem may remain in auto-
answer mode after a Shutdown is performed. The modem continues to
answer incoming calls, but the remote dial-in user is not able to
access the mail server until the dial-in host is restarted.
STATUS
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information
here as it becomes available.
