You experience problems when you try to programmatically use Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1 components from Active Server Pages (ASP) (899088)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use components that are included with Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1 (FP1), you may receive error messages or experience failures in functionality. These problems occur when you programmatically use these components from Active Server Pages (ASP).

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the components that are included in Commerce Server 2002 FP1 are not supported with ASP.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, you must use the Microsoft ASP.NET page framework that is included with the Microsoft .NET Framework to use any components that are included in Commerce Server 2002 FP1.
