SYMPTOMSAfter you install security update 885250 (MS05-011), you cannot save or copy files from a Mac OS 9.x computer.
Note Mac OS 9.x uses AppleShare IP 6.3 software.CAUSEThe AppleShare IP 6.3 client sends a NetBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT) frame without Server Message Block (SMB) data as a response to the SMB C transact2 Findfirst request. However, because the response contains no SMB data, the transfer operation is not successful.
