SYMPTOMS

When a meeting organizer invites you to attend a meeting in Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2005, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
  • You do not receive the meeting invitation to attend the meeting in Live Meeting 2005.
  • You receive the meeting invitation to attend the meeting in Live Meeting 2005. However, the meeting invitation may be received in the Junk E-mail folder or in the spam folder of your e-mail program.

CAUSE

This issue occurs when the following conditions are true:
  • The Live Meeting 2005 meeting invitation is sent from username@livemeeting.microsoft.com.
  • The MX records and the reverse lookup records still refer to the PlaceWare.com domain.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, check your Junk E-mail folder or your spam folder for the Live Meeting 2005 meeting invitation.

Note If your company uses a firewall, you may have to ask your network administrator to let e-mail messages that are received from the PlaceWare.com domain be delivered to the recipient.

If the Live Meeting 2005 meeting invitation is in your Junk E-mail folder or in your spam folder, mark the message as not being junk e-mail or spam.

To mark the message as not being junk e-mail or spam in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Junk E-mail folder.
  2. Right-click the meeting invitation message, point to Junk E-mail, and then click Mark as Not Junk.
  3. When you are prompted with the following message, click OK:This message will be moved into the Inbox Folder.
To mark the message as not being junk e-mail or spam in your Microsoft MSN Hotmail account, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Junk E-mail folder.
  2. To open the e-mail message, click the meeting invitation.

    When the e-mail message opens, you receive the following message:We've identified this message as junk. Please tell us if we were right or wrong by clicking Junk or Not Junk.
  3. To move the meeting invitation into your Inbox folder, click Not Junk Mail.
