FIX: When one interchange contains multiple messages, BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite does not transmit the IDOCs (896264)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite does not transmit the IDOCs when one interchange contains multiple messages.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite uses the InterchangeID value to transmit IDOCs to SAP. The InterchangeID value contains the unique tracking identifier of the interchange. This value is a GUID.

When one interchange contains multiple messages, the adapter cannot identify the individual messages because the same InterchangeID value applies to all the messages in the interchange.
