This hotfix package also fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • When you view a Rich Text formatted e-mail message in the plain text format, inline objects or attachments to the e-mail message may disappear if you click Display as Rich Text on the infobar.
  • When you use Outlook 2003 in Cached Exchange Mode, the following issues may occur:
    • If you create a new appointment by copying an existing appointment, Outlook 2003 does not generate a new Global Unique Identifier number (GUID) for the new appointment. Both appointments have the same GUID.
    • If you convert an existing appointment to a new meeting request, a new GUID is generated for the new meeting request. The existing appointment and the new meeting request have a different GUID.
