You cannot view .mdi files when you run the Microsoft Office Document Imaging program in Office 2003 (896230)

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use either of the following methods as appropriate:

• If you upgraded to Live Meeting 2005 Beta 2, remove Live Meeting 2005 Beta 2 and then repair your Office 2003 installation.
• If you removed the Live Meeting Windows-based console, repair your Office 2003 installation.

To remove Live Meeting 2005 Beta 2 from your computer, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
2. Under Currently installed programs and updates, click Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2005, and then click Remove.
3. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to remove Live Meeting 2005.

To repair your installation of Office 2003, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
2. Under Currently installed programs and updates, click Microsoft Office 2003, and then click Change.
3. In Microsoft Office 2003 Setup, click Reinstall or Repair under Maintenance Mode Options, and then click Next.
4. Under Reinstall or Repair Office, click Detect and Repair errors in my Office installation, click to select the Restore my Start Menu shortcuts check box, and then click Install.
