The "Restoring the BizTalk Configuration Database" topic in the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 online documentation contains an error. Under the heading "To update registry keys with the new BizTalk Configuration database name," the following information is not correct:
  1. Modify the following registry keys with the appropriate values for the new BizTalk Configuration database:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\BizTalk Server\3.0\Administration\MgmtDbServer
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\BizTalk Server\3.0\Administration\BizTalkMsgBoxDb

The following information is correct:
  1. Modify the following registry keys with the appropriate values for the new BizTalk Configuration database:

The BizTalk Configuration database name is stored in the MgmtDBName registry key, not in the BizTalkMsgBoxDb registry key as indicated in the online documentation.
