FIX: The Gdiplus.dll file is not updated as expected when you install a Visual Studio .NET 2003 project on a computer that is running Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 98, or Windows 95 (894797)

SYMPTOMS

When you install a Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 project, the Gdiplus.dll file is not updated as expected on computers that are running Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows 95.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
