The Live Meeting Outlook add-in is not compatible with the Live Meeting Add-in Pack for IBM Lotus Notes in Live Meeting (894645)

The Live Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook and the Live Meeting Add-in Pack for IBM Lotus Notes add-in are not compatible with each other. You can only have one of the add-ins installed in Live Meeting. If you have already installed one of the add-ins and have to install the other one, you must remove the currently installed add-in before you install the other add-in. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Quit Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes.
2. Click Start, click Run, type appwiz.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.
3. Click to select either Microsoft Office Live Meeting Add-in Pack or Microsoft Live Meeting Add-in for Lotus Notes.
4. Click Remove, and then click Yes.

To install the latest version of the Live Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook or the Live Meeting Add-in Pack for IBM Lotus Note add-in, follow these steps:

1. Visit the following Live Meeting Web site:

   http://main.placeware.com/support/plugins.cfm

2. Click the link to the version of the add-in that you want to install.
3. Click .exe version under Installation Instructions.
   
   Note There there is an .exe version and a .zip version available on this page to install the Live Meeting add-in pack.
4. In the File Download dialog box, click Open to download and to install the Live Meeting Add-in Pack.
5. Click Next.
6. Click I Agree to accept the license agreement, and then click Next.
7. For the Live Meeting Add-in Pack for IBM Lotus Note add-in, click Install. For the Live Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook, follow these steps:
   1. Click Install the Microsoft Outlook Add-in only, and then click Next.
   2. When the installer is ready to install the Live Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Outlook on your computer, click Next.
   3. If you receive the following error message, click OK:
      Cannot login to the Live Meeting server. Please verify that your Organizer User ID, Password, and Live Meeting account URL are correct and click the Login button. Note The first time that you use the add-in, the message appears because you have not defined the organizer information.
8. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
