A receive location for one program ID may receive IDOC messages from a different program ID in BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite (894260)

SYMPTOMS

On a computer that is running the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite, you configure all the following:
  • You create multiple SAP receive locations for a particular SAP server.
  • You configure all these SAP receive locations to use the same SAP gateway.
  • You configure each of these SAP receive locations with a different program ID.
In this scenario, a receive location for one program ID may receive IDOC messages from a different program ID. Therefore, Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 may route the messages to an incorrect destination.

CAUSE

BizTalk Adapter for mySAP Business Suite uses the SAP .NET Connector to communicate with SAP system. This problem occurs because versions of the SAP .NET Connector that are earlier than version 1.0.3.0 do not work correctly with multithreaded SAP IDOC receivers.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, obtain and install the SAP .NET Connector version 1.0.3.0. For more information about the SAP .NET Connector, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
