SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, when you try to create an application, the application may not be created successfully. Instead, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
The specified module cannot be found

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Microsoft Windows Script engine is corrupted.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, update your computer with the latest version of Windows Script Host. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
