SYMPTOMS

On your Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, an access violation occurs. The access violation causes the process where the exception occurred to end unexpectedly.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if the remote procedure call (RPC) runtime dereferences a NULL pointer inside a linked list.
