Page 2-15: Correction to FAT Support for Windows Server 2003

On page 2-15, in Table 2-1, in the "Windows Server 2003" row, under "Supports FAT", change:

"No"

To:
"Yes"


Page 5-14: Correction to Quotas Availability

On page 5-14, in the second paragraph, it states that disk quotas are only available in Windows XP Professional. This is incorrect. Disk quotas are available in both the Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Home editions.

Change:
"Disk quotas are available only on NTFS volumes and only in Windows XP Professional"

To:
"Disk quotas are available only on NTFS volumes"

Page 5-73: Correction to file compression support

On page 5, under "Chapter Summary", in the third bullet, it states:

"(Windows XP Home Edition does not support file compression)"

This is incorrect. Please remove this sentence.

Page 6-29: Segverif.txt should be Sigverif.txt

On page 6-29, in the second paragraph, "Segverif.txt" should be "Sigverif.txt".

Page 10-5: Class A should be Class C

On page 10-5, under "Class C addresses",

Change:
"leaving 2,097,150 potential Class A networks"

To:
"leaving 2,097,150 potential Class C networks"


Page 10-11: Correction to Gateway Address

There is an error in Figure 10-1 on page 10-11. The gateway address for the 192.168.2.x network is incorrect.

Change:
"192.168.1.1"

To:
"192.168.2.1"

Page 15-10: Correction to Question 6's Answer

On page 15-10, the correct answer to question 6 should be D, not C.

Change:

C. Correct: You cannot create a mirrored volume or any fault-tolerant volume on basic disks.
D. Incorrect: Windows XP Professional does support the creation of fault-tolerant volumes. Windows XP Home Edition does not."
