You cannot move users from an Enterprise pool or from a Standard Edition server in Live Communications Server 2005 (890297)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Move Users Wizard to move one or more users from a Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 Enterprise pool or from a Live Communications Server Standard Edition server, the move operation is not successful. In this scenario, the Move Operation Status page in the Move Users Wizard may appear similar to the following.

Succeeded Operations: 0
Display NameSIP URI


Failed Operations: 3
Display NameSIP URI
User1User1@contoso.com
User2User2@contoso.com
User3User3@contoso.com

CAUSE

This issue occurs if the Enterprise pool or the Standard Edition server that you try to move the users from is offline.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, start the server that the users are located on, and then retry the move operation.
