Invalid Product Key

CAUSE

This issue may occur if one of the following conditions is true:
  • You typed an incorrect CD Key number during the installation of Works Suite.

Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. In the Currently installed programs list, click the program that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
  4. After you remove the earlier version of Word, Office or the Office Professional Edition Trial software, insert the Works Suite CD-ROM, and then install Word.
