SYMPTOMS

Additionally, the Osdinstallwizard.log file contains the following error entry:

WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use one of the following methods.
Method 1
You must include the IP subnets in the site boundaries list in addition to the Active Directory site name. To specify the IP subnets, follow these steps:
- Start the SMS Administrator console.
- Expand Site Database (your site code - name of your site)\Site Hierarchy.
- Right-click xxx - name of your site, and then click Properties.
- On the Site Boundaries tab, click the yellow create button to add the IP subnet that it is in the Active Directory site, and then click OK. Repeat this step until all IP subnets are added.
- Click OK to close the site properties.
Method 2
Configure the OSDADSITE variable to the Active Directory site name by using an unattended script with the Image Installation CD. For more information about how to create an unattended script, review the "Customizing the Feature Pack" section of the SMS 2003 Operating System Deployment Feature Pack Users Guide.
