Keyboard for terminal-based applications may not work when you use the Application Sharing feature in Live Meeting 2003 (883755)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Office Live Meeting

SYMPTOMS

When you try to share a terminal-based emulation application in a Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2003 session, other attendees may not be able to type characters on the command-line of the terminal-based application. Instead, they can only click and move the mouse on the command-line of the terminal-based application.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when the keyboard mapping of the terminal-based application is different from the keyboard mapping for your computer or from the keyboard mapping for the other attendees' computer settings.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, set the keyboard mapping of your computer to the default keyboard setting or to the IBM keyboard settings.
