SYMPTOMS

When you click a node to view data for any dynamic view in the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 Operator console, the focus returns to the top of the navigation tree. For example, you may experience the following behavior:
  1. You click the Performance button on the Navigation pane.
  2. Expand Microsoft Operations Manager in the navigation tree.
  3. Click an item in the Results pane, and then click Select Counters.

The focus in the navigation tree returns to the top of the tree. If you want to view different data from the folder, you must scroll down the tree to find the node again. In this example, the folder is Microsoft Operations Manager.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

WORKAROUND
