The SnapShots Application Sharing and View Sharing plug-in (formerly named LiveDemo) is only compatible with Microsoft Live Meeting, version 4.x. If you want to use Microsoft Live Meeting, version 5, you must remove the Application Sharing and View Sharing plug-in from your Sun Solaris-based computer. This article describes how to remove the plug-in.

To remove the Application Sharing and View Sharing plug-in from your Sun Solaris-based computer, use the methods described in the following scenarios.

Method 1: You installed a personal version of the Application Sharing and View Sharing plug-in in your Netscape folder

If you installed a personal version of the Application Sharing and View Sharing plug-in in your Netscape folder, follow these steps:

Close all Netscape windows.
Delete the following files from your home folder. Type rm filename to delete the file.
- /.netscape/plugins/placeware/capture/pwsnap.zip
- /.netscape/plugins/placeware/capture/libpwsnapns.so
- /.netscape/placeware/capture/pwsnap

Method 2: You installed the Application Sharing and View Sharing plug-in in the global Netscape folder

If you installed the Application Sharing and View Sharing plug-in in the global Netscape folder and you have root user rights, follow these steps:

Log on as root.
Close all Netscape windows.
Delete the following files from your home folder. Type rm filename to delete the file.
- /usr/local/lib/netscape/plugins/placeware/capture/pwsnap.zip
- /usr/local/lib/netscape/plugins/placeware/capture/libpwsnapns.so
- /usr/local/lib/netscape/placeware/capture/pwsnap
