How to install the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Add-in for Outlook and the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Add-in for Windows Messaging

To install the Live Meeting Add-in for Outlook and for Windows Messenger, follow these steps.

Important You must use Microsoft Windows Messenger version 4.7 or a later version to install the Live Meeting Add-in for Windows Messaging.
  1. Click Start, click Run, click Browse to locate the Lmaddin.exe file, and then click Open.
  2. Click OK.
  3. When the Welcome to the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Add-in Pack Setup Wizard page appears, click Next.
  4. Click I Agree, and then click Next.
  5. In the Select Add-ins to Install page, click Install Both the Microsoft Outlook Add-in and the Messenger Add-in, and then click Next.
  6. In the Confirm Installation page, click Next.
  7. Click OK when you receive a message that tells you that you cannot log on to the Live Meeting Server, and then click Cancel.
  8. In the Installation Complete page, click Close.
  9. Start Outlook.
  10. Make sure that the Live Meeting toolbar is visible in Outlook.

How to install the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Add-in for PowerPoint

To install the Live Meeting Add-in for PowerPoint, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, click Browse to locate the Setup.exe file for the PowerPoint Live Meeting Add-in, and then click Open.
  2. Click OK.
  3. Click Yes when you are prompted to install or to upgrade the PlaceWare Add-in for PowerPoint 2003.
  4. When the Welcome page appears, click Typical.
  5. In the Software License Agreement page, click Yes.
  6. Click OK to complete the installation.
  7. Start PowerPoint.
  8. Make sure that the PlaceWare menu is visible in PowerPoint.
